A Bold Awakening: Revitalize Ourselves and Our Faith at the Spiritual Retreat, Mar. 16-18

Our District UMW Spiritual Retreat will be held March 16-18, 2018, in the beautiful redwood forest at Mission Springs Retreat Center, just outside of Scotts Valley, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to pause our busy lives and focus on our spiritual health.

Ms. Micheal Pope, CA/NV Conference Lay Leader and CEO of Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay, will be our retreat leader. In addition to her thought-provoking program, there will be a variety of optional activities:

  • Morning matins
  • Wake up/Warm up
  • Saturday evening Talent Show
  • Prayer walk
  • On-your-own nature walks
  • Craft tables
  • Reading book exchange
  • “Show n’ Tell” area to display your arts & crafts
  • and more!

Scholarships are available for first-time attendees as well as returning participants. Scholarships cover the program, meals, and lodging in the lowest-cost housing option, after applicants provide a modest share of the cost. See scholarship form on the District UMW Events page for details.
